Linda Barnby, our founder and CEO, is a multi-faceted entrepreneur and practicing attorney in Orlando, Florida.
Founding and leading the National Association of Entrepreneurs is the culmination of Linda’s years of diverse experience in small business, law, philosophy, strategic partnerships, online marketing and social media.
Before NAE
Prior to creating the National Association of Entrepreneurs, Linda has been a teacher, a lobbyist for a non-profit organization, real estate investor, certified mediator and a lawyer. As a teacher, Linda taught gifted students in public and private schools. As a young teacher, she organized the first gifted education program in Summerville School District, near Charleston, South Carolina.
After receiving her law degree from the University of Florida, she began her legal career with the law firm of Swann and Haddock, P.A. in Orlando, Florida. Soon thereafter she felt the pull of entrepreneurship and founded her own boutique law firm.
Linda is delighted to have heard and answered the call of entrepreneurship early in her life. Only through entrepreneurship could she have the flexibility and autonomy to engage in so many diverse interests while enjoying and meeting the needs of her family. Entrepreneurship enables her daily to express her creativity and create a lifestyle that honors her core personal values.
Most recently, she was host and producer of the News Talk AM 580 WDBO live radio show Building Your Business where she interviewed guests, answered callers questions and shared insights and tips with listeners.
Through the National Association of Entrepreneurs, and the community and resources it provides its members, Linda facilitates, mentors, trains and empowers others to create and build the business and the lifestyle of their dreams.
